10 Perfumes We Think Barbie Would Approve
With the highly anticipated live action Barbie movie set for release in just a few weeks, in honour of the iconic character, we are discussing all things Barbie approved.
The ultimate girly girl, Barbie, played by the incredible Margot Robbie, will experience life in the real world, away from her fantasy world. The movie will depict Barbie and Ken as they navigate the highs and lows of life as real humans! Since Barbie will experience all that human life has to offer, we’re curious what she will make of the beauty products we use. We’ve given it some thought and have decided upon 10 fragrances we think Barbie would give her pink seal of approval.
1 - ARMANI MY WAY EAU DE PARFUM
Barbie is always doing things her way, so Armani My Way sounds like a fitting scent for this character’s bold personality. Adventurous and independent, Barbie would definitely love this contemporary fragrance for women. The ethos of this fragrance “I am what I live” perfectly aligns with Barbie’s motto “Be who you wanna be”. Plus, the floral notes of the iconic scent would no doubt be Barbie approved.
2 - CAROLINA HERRERA GOOD GIRL EAU DE PARFUM
If we’re basing this list off style alone, Carolina Herrera’s iconic Good Girl would take the top spot. We know for sure Barbie would adore the shoe shaped bottle of this world famous women’s perfume. The beautiful bottle design would certainly be enough to take her attention. But aside from this, the scent is a sexy but elegant fragrance that would be perfect for Barbie’s dinner dates and parties with Ken by her side.
3 - BRITNEY SPEARS FANTASY EAU DE PARFUM
Barbie lives in her own fantasy world, so it seems only right to mention Britney Spears Fantasy in this list. Much like Barbie, Britney is a household name for her own reasons, her fragrance line being one of them. Fantasy is one of the bestselling scents in the line and is instantly recognisable for its hot pink bottle. Something we think Barbie would adore. Combining notes of Kiwi, Lychee, White Chocolate and Jasmine, Fantasy is a truly fruity fragrance that we could argue would be Barbie’s preferred scent type.
4 - ARIANA GRANDE SWEET LIKE CANDY EAU DE PARFUM
Another celebrity fragrance on our list is the incredible Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande. This youthful and dreamy fragrance is superbly Barbie-esque. Combining so many sweet notes, like Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, Vanilla, Blackberry, and Pear, this scent is the ideal match for Barbie’s sweet and charming personality.
5 - MARC JACOBS DAISY EAU SO FRESH EAU DE TOILETTE
‘Sweetly feminine’ is the best way to describe Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh. A stunning day to night fragrance that would accompany Barbie’s playful and fun lifestyle. We also think Barbie would fall in love with the stunning bottle design of this women's perfume that features a cap of playful daisies and pops of bright yellow. We think Barbie would love this scent, in particular, for summer holidays and days out with her friends.
6 - LANCOME LA VIE EST BELLE EAU DE PARFUM
Life is beautiful! The english translation of one of Lancome’s most popular fragrances - La Vie Est Belle. Since Barbie is known for her love of life and free-spirited approach, we couldn’t miss this womens perfume from our list. And, since the fragrance has a floral scent type with notes of Iris and Jasmine, we thought it fitting for Barbie’s typically feminine style.
7 - JUICY COUTURE VIVA LA JUICY EAU DE PARFUM
Another floral scent Barbie would love, and not just for the giant pink bow on the bottle. Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture has notes of Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, as well as Amber, Vanilla and Wild Berries.
