Deep Red, from Hugo Boss, is a fruity-floral fragrance. Released in 2001, it has been consistently popular since its release. Top notes of blood orange, blackcurrant, clementine, pear and mandarin orange give a refreshing citrus burst, which is sweetened and softened by the ginger leaves, freesia and hibiscus in the mid-notes. A base of sandalwood, cedar and vanilla gives a woody base, and adds to the outdoorsy feel of this fragrance.

Top notes of mandarin orange, lime, sea notes, green notes and lemon give a strong citrus opening which is tempered by the freesia, lily of the valley, jasmine and rose mid-notes. The woody base of cypress, cedar, musk and guaiac wood gives a masculine depth and together they have a reassuringly fresh and clean air about them.
