Escada

Escada is an international luxury fashion group founded in Munich in 1978 by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley.

The origin of the Escada name itself came from Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley, who bet on the full-blooded Irish racing horse of the same name and won.

The duo offered sophisticated, imaginative designs made with top quality in fabrics, fit and workmanship at affordable prices.

Escada introduced their first perfume in 1990, named after its designer Margaretha Ley.  The brand is recognized by their bright packaging and unusual bottle shapes. Their scents are youthful fruity-floral.
