5 Best Autumn Fragrances

Autumn is in full swing which means it’s the perfect time to update your fragrance collection. The change in weather and the darker nights are quickly creeping up on us, so finding a seasonal perfume or aftershave should be high on your list!

It’s the perfect time to invest in a fragrance that has a warmer feel to it, with woody and spicy notes that come together with versatile florals. So, with that in mind, here are some of the best autumn fragrances for men and women.

Autumn perfumes for her

Switching your fragrance collection to be more in line with the weather outside couldn’t be easier. Our two favourite autumnal perfumes are from brands you already know and love.

Lancôme Idôle is the epitome of femininity, but it has a sophisticated and empowering twist. Opening with a hit of bergamot with pink peppercorn, before moving into a traditional floral heart of rose and jasmine. The fragrance finishes with musk, vanilla and patchouli for a warming and comforting scent.

For a floral perfume that has a more exotic scent that’s perfect for the season, YSL Libre is a new fragrance that is bold and contemporary. Opening with Mandarin orange and blackcurrant, YSL Libre quickly moves into a combination of oriental floral notes, including jasmine and orange blossom.

With a base of vanilla and cedar, the notes twist together to create a sweet but sophisticated choice for the autumn season.

Autumn aftershaves for him

So many men’s aftershaves were made for the autumn season, with woody notes already being an essential part of so many fragrances. Here are just two of our favourites.

Bvlgari BLV is a woody, spicy aftershave that still offers a hint of freshness, making it a go-to choice for any time of day. Opening with cardamom and sandalwood, the heart of BLV is a spicy and unique combination of juniper and ginger. Finishing with teak wood and tobacco blossom, it’s a truly masculine scent with a warm and alluring finish.

For a unique combination of citrus notes with much darker and denser notes, Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather is iconic. Opening with Brazilian orange and lime, the heart of the fragrance has a gentle floral tone with rose and petitgrain. Staying true to its name, the base of the fragrance is deep and aromatic with leather and guaiac wood.

For both him and her

As unisex, or gender neutral, fragrances become more popular, it’s only fitting that we included one in our autumn edit!. Delivering a universal scent, Gucci Memoire D’une Odeur is created with a warming but sweet combination of notes. Opening with comforting chamomile and almond, the heart of the fragrance is home to musk and jasmine.

Finishing on a base of sandalwood and vanilla, it is a timeless fragrance that is incredibly memorable.
